Yesterday's Dream, Today's Reality, Tomorrow's Vision

NY CONNECTS has been in operation for about 10 years, serving the statewide senior population by connecting them with community resources through the local area Office of the Aging.  Last year, however, a pilot Expansion Program began in partnership with the OFA, run by the Independent Living Centers of this state.  This new expanded NY CONNECTS program is now able to serve people of all ages with any disability which includes physical; intellectual/developmental; and mental health conditions.

Through our ILC - Catskill Center for Independence in Oneonta, NY and Jason Paden, their NY CONNECTS (Expansion) Outreach Specialist – we specifically assist the people of the surrounding three counties of Schoharie, Otsego and Delaware with this enhanced program.

So we look forward and appreciate the opportunity to present this information to you and anyone you feel might benefit from hearing the details of this helpful, no-cost service and how we hope to further be able to assist the professionals, individuals and families with information and referrals within these important communities that we continue to serve.  Thank you.
